Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour mix (like King Arthur's 1:1)

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)

  • Everything Bagel seasoning for coating

  • Avocado oil, egg white, or water for coating

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of gluten-free flour mix, 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt (if using). Stir these ingredients until they start to form a dough.

    • Continue to knead the dough in the bowl for about a minute until it's smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more flour until it's manageable.

  2. Shape the Bagel Bites:

    • Take tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. You should get a smooth, round shape without cracks. If the dough sticks to your hands, lightly flour your palms or dampen them with a bit of water.

  3. Coat the Bagel Bites:

    • Coat each dough ball lightly with avocado oil, egg white, or water. This will help the Everything Bagel seasoning to stick.

    • Roll the coated balls in the Everything Bagel seasoning until well covered. Make sure each ball is evenly coated for the best flavor and texture.

  4. Cooking:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (if your air fryer requires preheating).

    • Place the seasoned bagel bites in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching to allow air to circulate freely.

    • Cook at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until the bagel bites are lightly browned. There is no need to flip them halfway through the cooking process.
